A Vienna Based Digital Art Platform and Virtual Gallery
Art Schultheiss is a Vienna based digital art platform presenting original works by İrem Schultheiss D. and creating virtual exhibition opportunities for independent artists.
The platform brings physical art and digital technology together through online collections, immersive exhibitions and 360 virtual gallery experiences.
Its purpose is to make art accessible beyond the limits of location, opening hours and conventional exhibition spaces. Visitors can discover works online, move through virtual exhibitions and connect directly with the stories behind individual pieces.
Art Schultheiss creates a bridge between artists, collectors, cultural audiences and new forms of digital presentation.
Why Art Schultheiss was created
Physical galleries provide an irreplaceable cultural experience. However, they are also limited by geography, time, capacity and the duration of each exhibition.
An artist may present a collection for only a few days or weeks. International audiences may be unable to travel to the exhibition. Once the event ends, much of the original experience can disappear.
Art Schultheiss was created to extend the life and reach of art through digital presentation.
A virtual exhibition allows visitors to explore a curated space from anywhere in the world. It can remain accessible after the physical event has ended and provide an enduring digital record of the artist’s work.
The platform does not seek to replace the physical gallery. It adds another layer of accessibility, visibility and connection.
The artistic foundation
Art Schultheiss was founded by İrem Schultheiss D, an artist whose work includes original oil paintings and Ebru art.
Her collection explores figures, nature, memory, mythology, atmosphere and the emotional relationship between people and the visual world.
The platform was initially developed as a space for presenting her own artistic work. It has since evolved into a wider model capable of supporting other artists, artistic disciplines and virtual exhibitions.
This artist centred foundation gives the project an identity beyond that of a conventional online marketplace. Art Schultheiss is built around the work, the artist and the experience of discovery.
Original art collections
The digital collection allows visitors to explore individual works through dedicated presentation pages.
Each artwork can be accompanied by information about the artist, year, technique, dimensions, availability and the story behind the piece.
This structure helps the viewer understand more than the visual appearance of the work. It creates context and supports a more meaningful relationship between the artist, the artwork and the potential collector.
The collection may include:
Oil paintings
Ebru art
Mixed media works
Photography
Sculpture
Ceramics
Selected reproductions
Art for private and commercial spaces
Virtual art exhibitions
The 360 virtual gallery is one of the defining elements of Art Schultheiss.
Visitors can move through a realistic exhibition environment, view artworks in relation to the surrounding space and experience a sense of scale that is difficult to communicate through a standard image gallery.
A virtual exhibition can include:
Connected panoramic viewpoints
Curated gallery rooms
Artwork information
Artist biographies
Audio or video content
Links to individual works
Contact and purchase enquiries
Exhibition narratives
Multilingual presentation
The result is an online exhibition that can be explored at any time and from any location.
Opportunities for artists
Many independent artists face difficulty accessing established galleries or reaching audiences outside their own region.
Art Schultheiss can provide an alternative exhibition model by combining professional presentation with digital accessibility.
Artists may use the platform to introduce a new collection, create a virtual exhibition, establish a permanent online portfolio or extend a physical exhibition into the digital environment.
The model can be adapted to individual artists, groups, curators and cultural organisations.
A virtual exhibition may also support international applications, collector presentations, media communication and collaboration with other galleries.
Art for collectors
Digital presentation can make the discovery process more accessible for collectors.
Visitors can browse collections, learn about the artist, review the details of individual works and submit an enquiry before arranging a physical viewing or purchase.
Art Schultheiss can also support tools that help collectors better understand how an artwork may appear in a particular setting.
The digital platform creates an initial relationship between the collector and the work while preserving the value of personal communication and physical experience.
Art for interior and commercial spaces
Original art can influence the identity and atmosphere of a space.
Art Schultheiss offers art related services for private collectors, residences, hotels, corporate offices and other commercial environments.
This may include original oil paintings, Ebru artworks and commissioned pieces developed according to the character and visual requirements of the location.
Potential applications include:
Private residences
Luxury apartments
Boutique hotels
Restaurants
Corporate offices
Meeting spaces
Reception areas
Wellness environments
Cultural venues
Interior design projects
The connection between original art and spatial presentation also creates opportunities for collaboration with architects, interior designers and hospitality professionals.
Vienna as a cultural base
Vienna provides a meaningful setting for Art Schultheiss.
The city has a strong relationship with museums, galleries, classical art and contemporary cultural production. It also brings together residents, visitors, artists and collectors from many different countries.
Positioning the project in Vienna supports both its artistic identity and international outlook.
The platform can connect local artistic production with audiences in Türkiye, Europe and other regions through multilingual publishing and virtual access.
The role of technology
Technology is used to improve access to art, not to distract from it.
The platform combines digital collections, 360 virtual tours, online publishing and visual storytelling to create a complete presentation environment.
A visitor can first discover an artist through an article or social media post, enter a virtual exhibition, examine individual works and then contact the platform regarding a purchase or collaboration.
This connected journey provides more depth than a conventional image gallery and allows the artist’s work to remain visible over time.
